Q: how to determine the estimated value of a 2008 mazda 3 after 60 months?
Im planning to buy a 2008 mazda 3 at 18,145.00$ CAN. how to determine the estimated value after 60 months
A: car depretiation are 10%-15% of the retail price per year so make your count
so if the car cost 10K and it has 10% that means it goes down 1k every year so at 6 years car only cost 4k or less depend on the percent
Q: 2008 mazda 3 and there is oil leaking between the engine and the tranmission only 8000 miles anyone else??
hi i have an 2008 mazda 3 and today my mechanic said that there was oil leaking between the engine and the transmission and it only has 8000 miles on it. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM??IS THIS COMMON??
A: the factory seal between the engine and tranny might be dodgy
Q: whats the cheapest but also the best stero system for the money for a 2008 Mazda 3?
can you list everything i am going to need.
A: Look online you can find wicked good deals on stuff, speakers in the car are optional but you can replace all 4 for less then 100 dollars and it will make a big difference also its an easy install. A new head unit is also a nice touch but not necessary. As for bass you can get a sony xplod package for 250 dollars which would be fine for your first system then just get a wiring kit which should be no more than 30 dollars.
Q: Alloy wheels for an 2008 Mazda 3 Sedan?
I'm buying a 2008 Mazda 3 Sedan with a 1.6L engine and I'm thinking of fitting alloy wheels.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of alloy wheels for this car?
A: aluminum alloy wheels weigh less than steel wheels.
the lighter the wheels, the easier it is for your car to accelerate, brake because this is the part of the car that you need in order to move.
the only disadvantage is probably cost.
if you are also looking at larger wheels, they do not give you performance, like some people think.
they are heavier, and put the tires farther from the axel. this means more rotational inertia, which equals more force needed to accelerate, and decelerate.
larger wheels are more cosmetic. you get them for looks.
some performance cars have big rims, is because they need them to fit the large brakes they have.
hope this helps.
Q: I have a new 2008 Mazda 3 and would to get a few more horses out of the motor.?
Some one said to change the air intake. Is this a good idea and is there any thing else I can do?
A: Yeah put a cold air intake that will add (depending on price) maybe 15 hp? you can proboly go to autozone and ask them, you could add a new exhaust sytem which wud cost more.
Q: In your opinion, would you say a 2008 Mazda 3 is a good vehicle?
ex-good on gas, safe car, etc.
would you think its safe for a new, teenage driver to drive?
A: I've had several Mazda cars over the years, 2-GLC's, 1-RX7, 1-626GT Turbo and my latest, a 2006 mazda3GS 5-door. Every one of those cars was brilliant. My current Mazda 3 is a lot of fun to drive, I get 30 mpg average with the 2.3L engine. I can get up to 34 mpg on the highway and down to 28 mpg overall in the winter. With snow tires it's even a good winter car. I'd recommend it highly to anyone.
Q: 2008 Mazda 3 advice?
I am planning to buy the 2008 Mazda 3 5-door after a lot of research. It would be helpful to give me any advice of this car or a similar car that is a hatchback.
A: Hi, you've made an excellent choice, you will not regret buying a Mazda3.
I have a Mazda3 hatch, and I know I bought the best car in the class - most reliable (check the links bellow), best handling - there's nothing that comes close in terms of chassis, suspension and brakes. And best looking too.
It's also very practical. Fold the rear seats down and you get very spacious wagon for a bike, TV, .... I'm 6ft1in tall and the car is very comfortable for me, there's still a place for "me" behind the driver's seat.
As for the trim level, make sure you get the the trim level with ABS, TCS and DSC standard (you can always switch the last two off, but they saved my life in an emergency braking manouver so I keep to recommend them to everybody). The rest is mere convenience and down to personal taste (auto or stick) but I think the grand touring is the best value for money. Bose audio is tailored for this car and it's great, automatic aircondition is much more effective than manual one).
Q: Does anyone know if/when Mazda will release a 2008 Mazda 3 sedan?
I want to buy a 2007 model, but I'm worried that as soon as I do, they'll come out with a newer model (bringing down the price of the 07). Any info?
A: If youre worried about the resale vale of the car....it will always go down once it leaves the lot.
However, in pricewise...one the 08 come out dealers will usually throw in a lot of incentives and rebates to "get rid of" their 07 inventory to make room for the 08s.
I would recommend waiting until mid/late summer near the end of the months when dealers are getting their orders in for the 08s. Once that happens they will be open to bargining to get rid of their 07s.
Q: Where are all seven speakers in the bose sound system for the Mazda 3 2008?
My husband and I just bought a Mazda3 and we have found all of the six speakers to the sound system but we know it comes with 7 speakers. any clue on where the 7th one is, we are still looking.
A: There is a sub under the passenger seat...this is the 7th one.
Q: I just bought a 2008 mazda 3, it doesnt have anti-lock brakes, how big of a deal is that? Is it very unsafe?
A: People drove for almost one hundred years and still do drive without ABS. However, they are extremely important. When you stomp on brakes without ABS they lock up disabling you from being able to maneuver your car. Here is a scenario. My car doesn't have anti lock brakes, a deer ran in front of me, I stomped on the brakes and since I couldn't steer my car so I went straight off the cliff (not a huge one, but enough to cause a lot of damage). My next car will have anti lock brakes. BTW, the Mazda3 is a fine car.
For those who keep saying "it does have ABS" ABS is only an option on i trim levels.
Q: 2008 mazda 3 able to be broken into?
the 2004-2007 have a locking problem and if you bash the door handle hard the lock will pop opening the door can this happen to the mazda 3 2008 help please
A: Or you can use a sparkplug and break the window instead which is what car thieves do that causes a far less commotion than bashing a door handle till it pops open. If the door popped open when you were driving, THEN I'd worry if I were you. Don't sweat it.
Q: Does anyone know of a bike carrier for a 2008 Mazda 3 with rear wing spoiler?
I'm having some difficulty finding a bike carrier because of the spoiler on my car. Does anyone have any suggestions?
A: If the spoiler isn't too big, there are bike racks that fit on the trunk. I don't know the brand of mine, but the bar goes over the spoiler area and wouldn't interfere with a spoiler. Have you looked at a local bike shop or sporting goods store?
Q: 2008 Mazda 3 i touring value says "hello"??
Hello everyone!! I was doing some research on the previous Mazda 3 models and found that the 2004 and 2007 models say "hello" in the central information display when you start the car/turn the radio on...is this true for the 2008 i touring value model?
A: Yes, it does say hello.

does someone know if this is a good price for this car? has someone bought this car? how did you like it? and what did you pay for it?well im getting the Mazda 3 4-door sedan Im getting the highest options on it which is The S grand touring , so the price changes with options so the car with this options is $ 21,165 plus Navigation and blue-tooth the dealer said it'll be around $25,000 .. is that a good price?

A: Yikes, that seems a lot for a car that starts around $14k. You should prolly cut back the options a lot. You can get a great deal looking at the Mazda3 i sedan. It costs less, gets better gas mileage, add in the touring package and you get a really great car for around $17K.
