A: The Mazda 3 will be redesigned for 2009. They will be hitting the dealerships in January 2009. The redesigned Mazda 6 will be released later in the fall this year. There is going to be a mid year change on the Mazda 3, and they will be hitting the dealerships next month. My Mazda Rep just came in, and said that the new Mazda 3 will be revolutionary.

Q: what is a good performance chip for a 2009 mazda 3?
am looking into a performance chip, but not something too expensive... anybody used one on a mazda 3 before? any results?

A: Those chips and tornado's you see on ebay are total crap and more likely to damage your car then do it any good. Mod's that actually add to performance cost real money such as exhaust, intake, remapped ECU, headers/cams, flywheel, pulleys, turbo etc.

Q: When are we gonna see the 2009 Mazda 3?
I've heard no news of it recently. Just know about it's sweet 2.5 liter engine.

A: I am pretty sure that they will redesign it for 2010 and not 2009. The Mazda 6 will be redeisgned for 2009. Pictures are all over the internet. And it will have a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine and a 3.7L V6 engine.

A: My sister owns a 2008 Mazda 3i sport and I own a 2008.5 Mazdaspeed 3. My sisters car has been driven back and forth from WI to NC twice so far without an issue. Great gas mileage, handles well, and reliable. Yes the audio controls come standard on the steering wheel and one thing that isn't said on the Mazda website is you also get a trunk for a glove compartment (I'm exaggerating of course but it is freaking huge). My ms3 on the other hand has a somewhat similar interior layout besides the seats, a telescopic steering wheel and some other tidbits (still has a cave of a glove compartment) but the driving experience is different. I mean very different, like forget going to six flags just go test drive an ms3 different. Sorry, all I'm saying is it's a fun car and i still get decent gas mileage at roughly 20/30 which I could improve on if I could stay out of boost. Just go out and test drive one I'm sure the salesperson will let you mess around with all the controls and everything, maybe even let you get a flashlight and discover the glove compartment.

Q: I just wrecked my brand new 2009 Mazda 3 Sedan?
I just got my 2009 Mazda 3 Brand New a few months ago. I Ran over a Speed sign and a tree and damaged the front left part of my bumper and around my front left tire. Since it is a brand new car you cant find parts for it anywhere. I had to send it to my dealers workshop to get it fixed. My dad was hoping to pay cash so that our insurance rates wouldnt go up but when he found out that there had been about $10,000 worth of damage he decided to go with insurance. Now a few days ago my dad went to the workshop to check up on the list of broken things and he noticed many parts like a door that were listed to be replaced. When he checked many of these things they were just fine and had no issues. My dad suspects this workshop to be a fraud but has no choice because its a new car and no other place has the parts. PLEASE HELP!!! thanks Just to let you guys know..the accident wasn't my fault...i had to turn to avoid getting hit by a truck coming towards me in my lane. My dad just spoke to the insurance and they said that they are planning to replace everything required to bring the car back to like it was brand new..

A: This is a bogus story The 2009 Mazda 3 is IDENTICAL to a 2008 Mazda 3, so finding parts are not a problem at all. IN fact, that particular body style of the Mazda 3 has been around for 5 years already, there are plenty of parts on the market Contact your insurance company if you think the repair shop is scamming you, that is why you pay insurance, so they take care of those things for you

A: The Mazda 3 will be redesigned for 2010, not 2009. It will look very similar to the new 2009 Mazda 6, but smaller and sportier. Expect the new Mazda 3 to come out in August or September of 2009.

A: I have not seen the pics of the 09 mazda 3 myself. The 08 model's have just arrived and are the same as the 07 model. I have not heard any plans of a makeover on the 3 at this time. I have heard however that the mazda 6 will be re-designed for the 09 year. But anyhow go to www.mazdausa.com and you can see pics of future mazda vehicles.

The specs: 2009 Mazda 3 5D Sport / Auto / Wheel locks / Gray Mica / All weather floor mats / Gargo mats. Is it a good deal or still has room for negotiation? Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

A: i think it looks funny but it may grow on me. on the other hand, it's got more power, weighs less and better MPG's now.... and it was already one of the top 2 cars in its class.

A: 2 good cars, difficult choice, I would get the one you like best, I prefer the Vibe a little more, but only in the style, and both are great cars.

I'm trying to decide between these two cars. It will be the only car, so it will be driven every day. I like both equally and have test driven both. The car will be for family use- no kids yet, but within a year or two- and light hauling- saddles, home improvement, etc... I've investigated both at Consumer reports, Kelly Blue book, and a few other sites and they all same the same thing, almost identical. It looks like it might just come down to personal preference and/or who gives the best deal. Both vehicles are equipped equally and with the same options. I'm going with manual shift and not interested in AWD. I live in western NY if that makes a difference. Anyone have either of these vehicles or doing the same search? Looking for advice. Right now I'm leaning towards the Toyota because of reliability, but the Mazda was definitely more fun to drive. Help! I'm trying to decide between these two cars. A: I too went through this dilemma. The Mazda3 2008.5 has the same platform (c1) as the Volvo s40 and better suspension (touring & grand touring only) the Toyota Matrix is the same car as the Pontiac Vibe from a partnership Toyota has with General Motors. I finally went with the Mazda 3 2008.5 and never looked back. I am just not that confortable with the history of GMs hand in the quality of vehicles for the US market. A: The mazda 3 is a great little car. Perfect for a new driver. You might have to find an old one with high miles to fit your budget though.
