Q: What high performance brakes should I put on a 2007 Mazda Miata?
A: Miata huh? I hope you are a girl.
Q: How fast is a 2007 Mazda Miata MX5 6 Speed Transmission?
A: You have to define fast.
If you are talking 0-60 and quarter mile it is a solid middle of the road 7sec and 15.5 second type car.
If you are talking handling on a track or on an SCCA course it is pretty much unparalleled.
The car was not made for drag racing, it was made to hold speed through the curves and handle well.
Q: What is ur opinion about the 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata power retractable hard top ?
I want to buy one & i need an honest opinion & all the tips u could give !
Thank you
A: Get a Honda.... The new Civic Si has nearly 200hp
Q: How do I read more about and see more about of the 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata with the retractable hard top?
A: Come see me at Stoney creek Mazda...........
lol the dealerships already have the pricing and brochours on that car. Some even have them in the show room. The best way to see it is to have a look yourself. It is a beautiful car
Q: 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata ! Is it manly to drive one or do you have different opinion? Is it a good & reliable ?
A: No offense to anyone out there...some cars are "guy" cars, but many are "chick" cars. The Toyota MR Spyder is a chick car, in my opinion. The VW New Beetle convertible is an uber chick car. The VW R32 is an uber guy car.
I use this as my barometer: What is the main focus of the car, regardless of how it's shaped or dressed? If it's performance [high HP engine, stiff suspension, big brakes, etc], it's a guy car. If it's more show than go [current & recent Mitsubishi Eclipses, for example], it's aimed at female buyers.
Miatas cater to both groups. It's one of the best-performing 2-seaters that you can buy, yet it's affordable enough and has an appeal to women that they will also buy it. Most women won't drive it like a man will, but that performance is there if it's ever called upon. AWESOMELY reliable car.
Good luck~

Q: Oil Filter Location on 2007 Mazda RX-5 Miata?
Sorry, I meant MX-5. I must have been thinking about getting a prescription that day.
A: i am pretty sure you can find it.
it's at the bottom of the car. you have to lift it up.
you have to take off the cover near the front axle, and you should notice the oil filter. it's kind of like a light bulb looking thing.
oh, and it's MX-5, not RX.
hope this helps you one way or another.
Q: Anyone recommend a 2007 MAZDA MX-5 Miata?
Im a total girly girl and I dont know anything about cars. I need a new car w/ good gas millage. I drive a pathfinder and it costs way too much to fill and im constantly having to refill. Any suggestions?
A: Cute car...very responsive on the road and you'll get all the looks from the dudes too.

A: MX-5 is rear wheel drive. Eclipse is FWD or AWD.
Q: I traded my 2007 Solstice for a 2007 Solstice GXP. I loved my solstice, but I LOVE my GXP! Who has a GXP?
I had purchased a mean yellow automatic 07 Solstice in January. I bought a mean yellow 07 Solstice w/manual transmission, and I just LOVE it!! I really loved my Solstice and I did not think I would ever give it up, but once I test-drove the GXP, I had to have it!! Every where I go, I get asked about this car! I have test-driven the Mazda Miata and there is no comparison!! This is a REAL sports car and no other car anywhere near the great price range that this car is even compares!!
My personalized tags say GOTPLSS
A: I work for Saturn and I get to drive a red line Sky from time to time and it is a very fun car. I don't personally care for the looks of the Solstice, or the fact that you have to buy it at a Pontiac dealer, but knowing there is a Sky inside of it makes it a little better.
Q: whats the best car for women (23..living in ny)?
my dream car is mazda miata mx5 but i can go for HOnda fit, crv, hyudai accent..even yaris..what do u think..NEED 2007 model small!
A: ok welp.. this is going to sound really strange.... but i have a 2005 mazda 3... i live in NY and im 23 and female. I LOVEEEEE my mazda. i think u need to get something that will not guzzle gas since its so damn expensive here and parking stinks. the 3 has fold down seats which means u can pack a lot of crap in it. ;)
Q: Mazda MX-5 Advice?
I am thinking about buying a third generation miata. What do you think? Do you have any recommendations, like is it worth getting the hard top, is there much of a difference between the 6-speed and 5-speed transmissions?? Also do you know if there are any differences between the 2008 and 2007 models?
A: Take a look at the NC (third gen miata) forums on miata.net, as you will find plenty of info (also check the pricing and dealer forum before going shopping).
In short, here are some basics: If you have to park in soso neighborhoods or drive in the big cold, the hardtop makes sense, otherwise forget it, the soft top is much cheaper and very well designed.
6 speed vs 5 : shorter ratios on the 6 speed makes for more clutch action and slightly more committed driving. The 5th gear has a taller 2nd and 3rd which can make it a little more relaxed in dense traffic. Both are fine, do not make this your choice factor, look at the other stuff and grab whatever transmission comes with it.
Even bare bones and with no added doodles, the stock miata is perfect as is, as long as what you want is a lightweight, fun sports car. Of all the possible packages, the only ones I would consider are: the suspension package, adds $500 to sticker price but brings better dampers and a limited slip differential, which is a steal for the money. and the DSC (dynamic stability control) is always good to have, but I do not remember where that one hides and if it available in all trims, might be GT only. I would stay away from leather seats, not very comfy under the sun with the top down and if you drive this car like it's meant to fabric seats will hold you in place better :).
The NC miata is a blast to own and drive. I can't think of a more fun car for less than $100k.
